Mysore Palace, or the Amba Vilas Palace, as it is known officially, is the official residential palace of the Wodeyars. Wodeyars were the erstwhile royal family of the Princely state of Mysore in Karnataka State, India.

Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery at Jaganmohan Palace

Jaganmohana Palace now houses a private art museum. Jaganmohana Palace was renamed as Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery. Maharaja Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar made this palace a trust in 1950. It is open to the public.

Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery is approximately 200 meters west of the Amba Vilas Palace. It was the alternative royal residence of the Mysore Kings.
