Kalesar National Park is in Kalesar Village of Yamunanagar district, Haryana, India. It is spread over 53 square kilometers. It was established in 2003.
Kalesar Wildlife Sanctuary
The Wildlife Sanctuary is located contigous to the national park, spread over 53.45 square kilometers. It was establised much earlier thn the national park, in 1996.
General Information on the National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary
Both the national park and wildlife sanctuary are two different areas, but adjacent ones. They are contiguous to Simbalbara National Park and Rajaji National Park in neighbouring Uttarakhand state.
Elephants, leopards, panthers, and red jungle fowl are found here. Sal, Semul, Amaltas and Bahera treees are also found in plenty.

Timings
This park and sanctuary are closed during July to September. From October to June, park timings are from 6 am to 10 am in the mornings and from 4 pm to 7 pm in the evenings during summer. In winter, it is open from 7 am to 11 am in the mornings and 3.30 pm to 6 pm in the afternoon.
