Bhambavli Vajra Falls have a height of 560 meters or 1840 feet. You can see the falls from a distance. You must trek around 500 meters to reach the bottom of this fall. Once you are near the falls, you can’t hear any other sound than the roaring sound of the falls,
Bhambavli Vajrai Falls is a three-tiered waterfall on the Urmodi River. The Urmodi River originates from here.
This waterfall is a perennial one; that is, water is there all through the year. It is also free from the maddening crowd that can be seen at some other waterfalls.
Non-vegetarian food is not allowed to be taken within one kilometer of this fall, as this fall is considered sacred.
Kaas Flower Valley and Bhambavli Flower Valley
Kas Flower Valley or Kaas Plateau, or Kaas Pathar Valley of Flowers, is located just five kilometers from this waterfall. Another nearby flower valley is Bhambavli Flower Valley, just two kilometers away. The flowers and the lush green mountains are the main attractions near the falls.
How to Reach Vajrai waterfalls?
Vajrai waterfall is 27 kilometers from Satara, the closest city to the falls.
The nearest airport to the falls is Pune. From the airport, head towards Satara – Kas, and then from Kas, head towards Tambi – Bhambavli.
Bhambavli Vajrai Falls can be visited between 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. daily.
