Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary

Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the North-eastern corner of Raipur district, in Chhattisgarh state, India. Tributaries of River Mahanadi flow through this wildlife sanctuary. Balamdehi and Jonk Rivers form the boundaries of this national park.

This wildlife sanctuary is rich in flora and fauna. Over 150 Bird species are found here. Wild boar, Indian bison (Gaur), Cheetal, Neelgai, Sambhar, etc, are seen in large numbers in this park.
