Kamlang Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in Lohit District, Arunachal Pradesh, India.
This wildlife sanctuary is spread over an area of around 783 square kilometers. This Wildlife Sanctuary was established in 1989. The Kamlang River flows through this wildlife sanctuary and hence got its name. Glow Lake, at around 5,000 feet, spread over 8 square kilometers, accessible only by trekking, is the major lake inside this sanctuary.
Parshuram Kund, or Parashurama Kunda, a famous Hindu pilgrimage center, is inside this wildlife sanctuary.
Kamlang Wildlife Sanctuary is rich in flora and fauna. Leopard, the clouded leopard, tiger, and snow leopard, the four big cat species, can be found here in this protected wildlife sanctuary. Around 150 tree species are found in this sanctuary. Approximately 61 mammal species, 20 reptile species, and 105 bird species are in this protected wildlife park.
