This road, earlier known as Airport Road, was renamed Old Airport Road after the new airport was opened at Devanahalli, Bangalore. This road crosses the Outer Ring Road over the bridge at Marthahalli, around one kilometer from the Aerospace Museum.
HAL Museum at Bangalore is just one and a half kilometers away from the old Bangalore airport, on the opposite side of the old airport. The Aerospace Museum at Bangalore is just 8 kilometers from Mahatma Gandhi Road (M.G. Road), Bangalore.
