Seema is at around 15 kilometers from Taluka (at 27 kilometers from Sankri ), en-route to HarKi-Doon valley, Har Ki Doon Valley is at around 3.55 kilometers from Seema, which may take anywhere between 5 to 7 hours to trek.

Hanuman Chatti, the place where Hanuman Ganga and Yamunotri rivers confluence is another nearby trekking location. There are guest houses in Hanuman Chatti for the tourists.

Yamunotri, where river Yamuna originates on the Bander Poonch Himalayan peaks, is accessible from Hanuman Chatti by road up to Janki Chatti (around 8 kilometers distance) and from there by trekking the 3.3 kilometers route which is well laid with railings on the side, which takes somewhere around 3 hours to trek. Which is the access point to The Trekker’s Paradise, Har Ki Doon Valley?

Sankri / Taluka serves as the starting point for Har Ki Doon Valley trekking packages. You can go from Dehradun (the nearest major city) to Purola by bus. At Purola, you need to catch a local bus to Sankri.

If your trekking tour starts from Taluka, you can hire a jeep for the twelve kilometer Sankri-Taluka travel.

Dehradun is the nearest airport for those traveling by air.

Sankri is at 155 kilometers or 96 miles from Mussorrie in Himachal Pradesh state, another nearby famous tourist destination.

Entry Restrictions at Jagannath Puri Temple

Practicing Hindus of non-Indian descent and Hindus of non-Indian origin are excluded from entering the temple premises. Those who are denied entry can view God Jagannath from the roof of the nearby Raghunandan Library at the main entrance to the temple.

Puri is an important terminus among the railway stations in India, one kilometer north of the town. There are direct trains to most parts of India from Puri. The railway station code for Puri is ‘PURI’, on the website of Official railway ticket booking site, irctc.co.in.

There are direct bus services to KolkottaVisakhapatnam and many other cities. Frequent buses are there to nearby cities of  Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. Cycle rickshaws are available. You can hire a bicycle or a motor cycle and go around the city.
