Ethipothala Falls is near to Guntur in Andhra Pradesh state of India and is a 70 feet high river cascade on Chandravanka river, a tributary of Krishna River. The fall waters joins Krishna river, after 3 kilo meters, down the falls.
Ethipothala Falls is formed as a result of 3 streams joining here. There is a view point opposite the falls which gives a clear, beautiful view of the falls. Water is released from the Nagarjuna Sagar dam’s right bank canal to this falls to keep the waterfall alive throughout the year for tourism purposes.
Near the bottom of the fall, there is a Crocodile breeding center.
