Robber’s Cave is a river cave formation situated very close to Dehradun city in Uttaranchal state of India.
Robber’s Cave alias Robbers cave state park or “Gachchu Pani”, as it is called locally, is a 600 meter long cave with many falls inside, with the highest fall having a height of 10 meters. The cave is a natural cave formed on an extremely narrow gorge in a limestone area. The stream waters in Robber’s Cave goes underground for a few meters before re-appearing again.
Robber’s Cave is a calm and beautiful tourist place, little away from the city’s hustle and bustle and is a weekend getaway place for Dehradun residents.

Robbers Cave, Dehradun is at around 8 kilometers distance from Dehradun city and is easily accessible by road. You can go by bus up-to Anarwala, from where you need to trek a distance of around one kilometer. (If you are a die-hard trekker, you may go to the Trekker’s Paradise at Har Hi Doon Valley, from Dehradun.)
