Meenmutty Falls Wayanad located around 30 Kilometers from Kalpetta, in Wayanad District in Kerala State, India is near to  the Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu border. There is another water fall with the same name in the same state. It is near the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram.

Meenmutty  falls is from a height of 300 meters; a three tier water fall. It is one of the best waterfalls in Wayanad district and and can be reached by trekking 2 kilometers from the Ooty main road.

Meenmutty water fall being away from the main road, is least commercialized water fall in the state. It is least crowded among the water falls in India.

En route to Meenmutty waterfalls is the famous “Pookode lake”, which offers boating facilities. There is also a Park for kids and space for walking for those health freaks.

There are many hotels and resorts in the city and homestay also is available.

Eddakal caves, 10 kilometers from Wayanad  and Kuruva Island ( 40 kilometers from Sultan Battery in Kabini river) are some of the major tourist spots nearby.  There are boats, which can carry 6 people, available to cross the river and reach the island.

is at a distance of 95 kilometers from the nearest city, Kozhikode. It may take 2 hours plus to travel this distance. Nearest Airport is Kozhicode or Calicut Karipoor International Airport and nearest railway station is at Kozhikode.
