Polur Narasimha Temple

Polur Narasimha Temple  is in the Tiruvannamalai district of Tamilnadu state in India.

This Narasimha Temple is called ‘Sampath Giri’ meaning mountain of wealth; sampath in Sankrit (an Indian Language),  means Wealth and Giri means mountain.

Thiruvannamalai Arunachala Hill where the famous Arunachaleswarar Temple or Tiruvannamalai temple is situated, can be seen from the top of the hills near the temple.

How Do I Go To Polur Narasimha Temple?

This temple town is  well connected by roads. It is situated  on the National highway No. 234, connecting Villuparam in Tamilnadu State and Managaore in Karnataka state.

Polur Railway Station (near to Katpadi Junction; Railway Station near Vellore City fort) is the nearest railway station. Chennai International Airport is the nearest Airport.
